The band enjoyed a trip over the border to a sunny Yorkshire for the Brighouse March & Hymn Tune contest. Under the helm of David Thornton the band played In Perfect Peace superbly followed by the march Knight Templar. In a strong field of 30 bands, B&D were the highest placed 1st section band in the hymn tune contest, 2nd in the march and finished in a commendable 9th position overall.
