The band played a solid performance of Gilbert Vinter's Symphony of Marches at the North West Area Championships in Blackpool on Sunday. It was certainly a memorable day for Daniel Thomas as it was his first ever contest as Musical Director. Daniel certainly prepared the band well which resulted in a creditable 4th position out of 16 bands.
This puts the band in a firm place for 2020 as leaders of the NW first section grading table.
