What a fabulous event we had on Friday evening at St. Cuthbert's Church in Darwen. The concert started with A FANTASTIC performance by our Junior Band, To prepare and competently perform 3 new pieces in the space of a few weeks speaks volumes for their effort, commitment and ability. Every individual is working hard to improve their playing and the progress of individuals and the whole band is absolutely brilliant! Well done to all. You should be very proud of what you are achieving. Onwards and upwards!
The senior band performed next with some fabulous solo's from Anne on flugel, Matthew on horn, Jan on euphonium and Rob on soprano.
Thanks to everyone who supported our event, we thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to see you all again soon.
